The least annoying robo-calling system provider

I have been spending time with Varolii users this week at their conference, learning some new things about the technology that supports customer support and call centers. Did you know that different kinds of voices can deliver different results — male vs. female, stern vs. pleasing, etc.? How about how these results translate into ROI when you are going for collecting money or trying to solve common customer problems? One Varolii client mentioned that a small implementation in their customer response system saved them millions of dollars a month and turned in a two-day ROI. There aren’t too many products that can deliver that kind of savings.

Varolii is behind many of the robo-calls that you receive from various suppliers such as banks, cable companies, airlines and the like. While none of us like to be on the receiving end, they may just be on to something, so maybe we should categorize them as the title of this post says.
