In Bob Sutton’s current post, he talks about people who are in charge of large groups of World of Warcraft teams (called guilds) are learning solid organizational and management skills. It is an intriguing notion.  As the better guilds grow quickly, their leaders have to learn to adapt, delegate, and find new roles and new middle-management structures.
