Tom’s ITPro: How Dell trained 9,000 on social media

Chances are you haven’t yet heard of SMaC U, nor know anyone who might have gone to school there. But if you work for Dell, chances are better than 10% that you have taken at least one of its classes. The acronym stands for Social Media and Community University, and so far more than 9,000 of Dell’s employees from all over the world have attended at least one of its numerous classes on how to use social media.I visited Dell’s campus earlier this summer and my report can be found here in a piece I wrote for Tom’s ITPro.
